As a Truck Driver at United Rentals, your primary responsibility will be delivering equipment to our customers safely, efficiently, and courteously. You’ll frequently interact with clients, acting as a company ambassador and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Delivery: Safely drop off and pick up equipment for customers, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Customer Service: Recommend additional equipment and supplies to meet customers’ needs and provide outstanding service.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: At least 6 months of experience, with 1 year preferred.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting items up to 45 lbs. regularly.
- Skills: Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills. Strong focus on safety.
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies.
