Key Responsibilities
- Crane Operation: Safely operate articulated cable crane trucks to transport materials.
- Inspection and Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of the loaded truck to ensure accuracy and compliance with weight restrictions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and submit them to the Fleet Office.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload materials at residential and commercial job sites.
- Safety: Adhere to safety policies and procedures while loading, traveling, and working on job sites.
- Trip Planning: Utilize GPS, atlases, and other resources for trip planning.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and maintain the truck's condition, including tires, lights, and brakes.
Required Qualifications
- Licensing: Hold a valid 3A or 1A driver’s license.
- Crane Certification: Possess a valid crane certificate for cranes up to 20 tons.
- Additional Certifications: Forklift Operator and/or Fall Arrest certifications are advantageous.
- Driving Skills: Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Physical Ability: Capable of regularly lifting up to 75 lbs.
